Binding sound, no inscriptions. 217pp. 4 colour, 99 b/w plates. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition held at the College of Fine and Applied Arts, Urbana, Illinois from February 26 to April 2, 1950. Amongst other artists less well known today, the exhibition included work by Jackson Pollock, Lyonel Feininger, Max Ernst and Serge Chermayeff..
