The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1942. Limited Edition . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 84 plates from the MMA collection, preceded by eight pages of introduction by William M. Ivins, Jr. and list of the plates. Limited edition: 2000 copies printed. Reproductions of paintings and etchings include full images and details. 4to (9-1/8" x 11-3/4"), gray cloth soiled and age-tanned around margins of boards, shelf wear, outer cloth layer of spine missing and cloth frayed along it, printed on glossy paper with light foxing to free end papers (which are blank), hinges loose with 1/2" split at top and bottom of front hinge. Plates are in good condition. Christmas 1944 gift inscription on first free end paper, other pages unmarked.

Shipping charge may be reduced on some books weighing less than 1 lb to U.S. addresses. International Priority shipping charges may be reduced on books that fit in a USPS small flat-rate box. International Standard (First-Class Package International) shipping charges may be reduced for a second or more books if the total package weight does not exceed 2 lb.
