[London]: The Architectural Press, 1951.. First edition. Large 8vo. 192 pp. Publisher's blue cloth, gilt lettered to the spine, colour illustrated dust jacket. Profusely illustrated, occasionally in colour. Jacket worn with losses principally to the head and centre of the spine, slight foxing to the endpapers and edges, otherwise very good. The artist's study of "likely and unlikely" places, ostensibly English, such as fairgrounds, seaside resorts and festivals. The book also includes chapters on subjects as diverse as tattoos and automata.
