An attractive young woman stands in a look-out built in trees on the east bank of the Hudson River, looking northward towards what appears to be West Point and Constitution Island, which is rather taller than in reality. Full page of illustration from the Harper's Weekly newspaper. Woodcut illustration with later hand coloring. Page approximately 11 x 16". Very good condition.
