Ukiah, CA: Tom Paine Institute, 1984. Paperback. xii, 276p., wraps, 6.5x8.5 inches, wraps worn, old price sticker on front wrap, small stain on bottom edge, three rubberstamps on title page. Special printing in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement, which the author was participant in. Andersen and his wife Dorothy were the founders of the Tom Paine Institute and were active in the Quaker and intentional community movements. This book was later revised and reissued as "Liberating the Early American Dream;" Andersen explains in the preface that he rushed forward this unrevised version to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the FSM.
