Orbit, 1990. Hardback. Acceptable. Acceptable condition. Ex library book. The front matter has been torn off and removed near the spine. The dust cover is heavily worn, scuffed and creased around edges and faces. There is a sticker on the spine and a 2.5cm tear to the dust cover wrapping around the front page edge onto the inside front flap and a 5mm tear to the top corner of the back. There are also some light stains to the top of the reverse of the inside back flap, the top of the inside back cover and top of the reverse of the back matter. There is a notable slant to the spine and there are stamps and writing on the title page. Otherwise in good condition with pages crisp and clean.

There are some scuffs and creases to the edges and corners of the dust cover with a 3mm tear to the bottom of the spine and a 5mm tear to the top corner of the back of the dust cover. There are folds to the bottom corner of the inside front flap and some light scratches to the faces of the cover as well as the remnants of a sticker on the bottom corner of the front cover as well as remnants of erased pencil marks on the front matter. There are some light scuffs to some page edges but otherwise in very good condition with all pages crisp and clean.

Stain to edge of ffep and pages.Crack to inside hinge of front board, binding remains solid. Mark to rear board. A scarce signed first edition of the third book in the Culture series.
