A very good copy, the binding square and firm with bumping to the corners and spine tips, the cloth a little dusty and darkened to the spine. The contents, with a previous owner's name to the front pastedown and some toning to the text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout. Uncommon in the first edition. A lost race novel.
