London: Hodder & Stoughton Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 2nd UK edition.. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. No date (1927). An early re-issue of the 1st UK edition from 1926. Published in the U.S. as 'The Vanishing American,' this originally appeared as a serial beginning in the November 1922 issue of Ladies Home Journal before seeing its first book publication by Harper & Brothers in 1925. Orange/mustard cloth w/black lettering/blue eagle decoration to front cover, black lettering/blue rule to spine, 320 pages. Mild wear to corners/spine ends, tanning, light edge foxing, some offsetting to end papers, in rubbed dust jacket w/nicks to corners/spine ends, 1/2" tear to top left corner of front panel, a couple of unobtrusive 1/8" tears to bottom edge. Dust jacket in protective mylar sleeve. A nice copy of a title seldom found in a dust jacket..
