Folio. 35.5 by 24 cm. 366 pp. 25 color plate caricature portraits of political leaders, sovereigns, judges, movers and shakers, among them, Ferdinand de Lesseps, Louis Napoleon (Napoleon III), Lord Carnarvon, Leopold II of Belgium, Tsar Alexander II, the Sultan of Turkey, the Marquis of Salisbury, Queen Isabella II of Spain, etc. etc. Wear and soiling to the green cloth of the binding. Interior generally clean and tight.
