Dallas, TX: Southwest Press; (1929). First Edition . Hardcover. First edition, first issue with "Rio Grande River" on map endpapers. Rattlesnake skin boards over tan buckram spine, with title label on front board. A very good copy with no dust jacket, a little wear at the edges and corners of the boards, and two ownership signatures (one dated in 1929) on the front endpapers. Laid in is a newspaper clipping about Dobie from 1963. Includes map endpapers, illustrations, and an index; 314 pages. The author's first book, McVicker A1 a(1).
