"With the names of the artists by whom they are represented, showing how long many of the numerous breeds now existing hace been known."Original brown cloth with black lettering on the front with canine illustration done in line with another smaller one on the rear board. 12 pages of title page, dedication and introduction followed by 52 full page illustrations, with illustrations and pagination on versos only. 7 X8.75 inches. The book is inscribed at the head of the title page in ink thus : "Dr. Pettigrew/with the author's best regards". Inscribed by the Author. First Edition.
