New York: The Macmillan Company, 1957. Softcover. Near Fine/Very Good. First edition, trade issue. Advance Uncorrected proof. Edited by Peter Allt and Russell K. Alspach. Tall and thick octavo. Unbound sewn signatures laid into the finished dustwrapper. Publication date stamped on the titlepage ("Oct 28, 1957"). Crease on first leaf else very near fine in a price-clipped, sunned and worn good dustwrapper. Unusual and somewhat ungainly format, presumably prepared only for in-house use and thus likely prepared in only a dozen or so copies. We've not seen another.
