About This Item
Manchester, England: Thomas French and Sons Limited, 1941. Decorative Boards. Very Good +. WARMLY INSCRIBED BY JOHN D. HARRIS, THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOOK'S PUBLISHER, THOMAS FRENCH AND SONS, on the front pastedown. A solid, very presentable copy to boot of the 1941 stated 1st impression of this uncommon study of the Venetian blind. Tight and VG+ in its pictorial boards, with just a touch of light rubbing to the panels. Internally, clean as could be, with no writing or markings of any kind. Copiously illiustrated throughout, with hundreds of black-and-white and color photos complementing the text. (From the title page: "A survey of the foundation and development of the Venetian blind, its uses, advantages and applications together with the modern modus operandi of manufacture and selling").
