First Edition, limited to 874 copies. A memorial volume published to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of Verdi's death. Contains articles relative to Verdi and his works by many of the leading Italian musicologists of the time, including Giuseppe Mulè, Andrea Della Corte, Fernando Lunghi, Giovanni Tebaldini, Giuseppe Adami, Adriano Lualdi, Federico Mompello, etc.
