Buenos Aires: Alemann y Cia. Ltda, 1945. Hardcover. Very Good/good -. 297, [5] p.; 20 cm. Blue cloth with red spine title; red title on silver pastedown on front cover. Publisher's catalog on final page. Dust jacket (in mylar cover) with map on front section and advertisement for the book on the back section. Inside of dust jacket decorated with red-on-white pattern. First published in 1943 in English as The Forgotten Ally. The author, a Dutch-Canadian-American journalist, argued vehemently that the Jews should be evaucated from Europe and resettled in Palestine along side the Arabs. Scarce. Book is in Very Good Condition: paper is browning and brittle; clean and solid. Dust jacket is in Good- Condition: spine is sunned; rubbed; loss at tail of spine and along upper edge of back section.
