Alburqurque: Alan Swallow, 1941. First edition. The Swallow Pamphlets: No.2. Staple bound, with paper covers; 12mo. 18 pp. The California poet's first book. Stafford was a formalist in the modern tradition of his close friend Yvor Winters. Covers unevenly toned, two small chips, offset from flaps, still in uncommonly nice condition. Very good in wrappers. Scarce.
