I (all published), viii, xiv, [2], 168pp., 3 large folding engraved plates (one show the course of the river Saale from Gros-Rosenburg to the mouth of the Elbe), cont. half calf, re-backed, spine tooled in gilt with red morocco title label, corners rubbed. All published of this important work on hydrotechnics, dealing with the movement of water in stream and riverbeds. Provenance: Neat bookplate of Glasgow University Library on front paste-down. Poggendorff I, pp. 818.
