Edinburgh: David Douglas, 1899. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo, xxix + pp248 plus 14 b/w plates with illustrated title page engraved from a photograph by Oswin A. J. Lee and 1 pull out colour map at rear in near fine condition with 12 pages of adverts to rear. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original green buckram binding with gilt lettering to spine in very good condition with minimal shelf wear to top and tail of spine. Inside previous owners bookplate to front paste down with all pages and plates with top edge gilt in very good clean condition. A very good copy indeed.
