First edition, first printing. 256pp, monochrome plate frontispiece and numerous further plate illustrations and drawings in text. In red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth very slightly rubbed at edges, rounded at spine tips, spine faded. A little spotting on endpapers and prelims, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
