London: Cassell and Company Ltd. 1946. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, in dustwrapper. Photographic frontispiece with five black and white plates. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to the front free endpaper. Light spotting to endpapers and half title. The dustwrapper, with a little scuffing to the rear panel, and some general light rubbing to edges and folds, is otherwise bright and complete. Not price-clipped (12'6 net to the front flap). The sixth volume of Churchill's War Speeches, containing speeches made during 1945. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request.
