A rare survivor of Viennese neo-classical silver, the Sachsen-Teschen Silver Service made for Duke Albert Casimir and his consort, Archduchess Maria Christina of Austria (sister of Marie-Antoinette) is relatively unknown. Consisting of hundreds of pieces the service was made by goldsmith Ignaz Josef Würth and is characterised by its sculptural decoration. Text in English.
