About This Item
Hanoi: Xunhasaba, 1977. Magazine. Four issues of the magazine, approx. 10x13 inches with minor variations over time; issues present are 153, 166, 167, and 220. Generally very good, with minor closed edge tears or corner wear. No. 153 has a 4-page appeal laid in, calling for unity in fighting the US; this issue also includes an article on a visit by Eldridge Cleaver on p. 19. First three issues are wartime, with illustrated stories about victories against the US by South Vietnamese guerrillas, portraits of heroic soldiers, etc. Latter issue from 1977 is post-unification with stories on increasing food production and other peacetime concerns. No. 220 includes a two-page feature on Puerto Rico, in support of independence.
