About This Item
London: Phaidon Press Ltd, 2008. Reprint. Card wraps. Near fine. Sm 4to (28cm). Photographic card wraps. Unpaginated, but 224 printed pages. A reissue of the classic photobook of the Vietnam War, first published in 1971, with a new foreword by Naom Chomsky. A moving, often harrowing collection of monochrome photographs taken by Jones Griffiths during his time in Vietnam as a Magnum photographer. The book became one of many focal points that awakened the American public to the ongoing horror of the war. A publisher's label to cover. Some minor impressions to covers, but otherwise a fine copy, with limited signs of use, covers and spine uncreased, binding firm.
