Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa) Near Tivoli.

by Salvatore Aurigemma

Condition: See description

Tivoli, Italy Arti Grafiche A. Chicca, 1964. Paperback Fifth Edition (1964) revised. Very Good+ in Wraps: shows indications of very careful use: just a hint of wear to the extremities; very mild rubbing and a touch of soiling to the open-weave wrapper covers; the heel of the backstrip is very mildly bumped; the binding square and secure; the text is clean. Former bookseller's rubber-stamped logo at the title page, else free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. Shows a minor flaw and the faintest wear; but remains a handsome copy: clean, sturdy, and quite presentable: in fact, in overall appearance, remains virtually 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo. (7.4 x 5.1 x 0.35 inches). 85 pages of text, plus an extensive section of black & white photographs and fold-out maps and maps and photographs interspersed throughout the text (31 in all, plus 13 drawings, and a fold-out plan, drafted by the Rome School of Engineers, and brought up to date). Translated and Revised by Professor A.W. Van Buren. Black titles with crimson designs at the front panel. Cream open-weave paper wrappers. A handsome little volume. Language: English. Weight: 5.6 ounces. Paperback.
