Black and blue ink on white, which latter is now age-toned. Zodiac imagery artfully etched in background. Full-size image scans have been intentionally reduced in size for listing; see close-up of title areas for an idea of true resolution, which is impressive. Both charts include, at the bottom margin, a discussion of the use of the charts, as well as a Stellar Magnitude graphic (see scans). Charts 1 through 6 occur, back to back, on three leaves, 1 & 2 and 5 & 6 being listed elsewhere here. All are gnomic projections; for these two, 3 & 4, as well as 1 & 2, the projection is taken parallel to the axis of the earth. 5 & 6, beng polar, are taken perpendicular to the axis of the earth. Very Good; moderate age-toning, as noted, to the white background. small nicks and roughening at perimeter, not affecting images or text. See scans.
