New York: The Modern Library, 1950. 3rd Thus. Very Good+. Translated by J. W. Mackail, with an introduction by William C. McDermott (Associate Professor of Classical Studies, University of Pennsylvania). Third or later edition from The Modern Library with 1950 on copyright page. In original, unclipped, dust jacket in mylar with a small chip on one corner. Green cloth over boards with gilded lettering in and frames around black labels on front and spine. Former owning organization stamp on bottom fore edge and on title page; otherwise in fine+ condition. Top fore edge stained blue. Interior is clean and clear with an unbroken spine.
