About This Item

Roseville, California: Humanities Press, 1980. First American Edition . Hardcover. As New/As New. Examines how Woolf's "vision of life [shifted] from the solipsistic experience of reality to the objective reality of phenomenality." & how this shaped her "experimentation with the novel form." Originally the author's doctoral dissertation & published in India in 1979, this is the FIRST AMERICAN EDITION from 1980, in 195 pages, including extensive Notes, Selective Bibliography, & Index. Hardcover book is Fine in a Fine, unclipped DJ--has been stored since Brand New! Completely clean, binding strong & straight; NO writing, highlighting, or underlining; NOT ex-lib. The unclipped DJ is virtually flawless, nicely protected in new mylar cover. The only flaw is that the book was printed in India, & the paper quality is less than that used in the US: thinner, grayer, etc. The glue between the ffep & rest of text block is beginning to separate--just looks strange, but no real impact. Please see our photos--they show the Exact book you will receive from us, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand! Description & photos property of Gargoyle Books.
