Original softcover bound into hardcover. xviii+241pp. Ex-library, personal library of historian Henry R. Wagner and institutional library American Antiquarian Society (gift of Wagner). Wagner's decorative bookplate present but unglued from its spot verso the title page. Embossed stamp of AAS to title page and a small card glued to front pastedown of the later hardcover. Condition is Very Good. Simple brown cloth boards with gilt titling to spine are lightly worn. Original softcovers also lightly worn with minor stains. Contents are a bit age toned with widely scattered age spots, but overall clean and unmarked, with a tight binding. (cfm)
