New York: Harper & Row, 1974. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good-. Stated First American Edition, 1974. Book has light bumping and faint soiling to head and tail of spine. Speckling to top edge of text block (not sure if it's publisher's spray or dust spotting). Pages are clean and binding is tight. Dust jacket has a little wear to tail of spine with one very small chip. A tiny bit of wear to fore edge corners of dj. Dj has been placed in protective mylar cover. 149 pages. Set in the South Pacific Islands, this action-suspense mystery concerns a tribe of island natives, recently converted from cannibalism, and the strange doings of the whites on the island.
