The Allethaire Press, 1990. Book. VG+. Original Wraps. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Reproduction negatives made by Robert Hennessey. Text set in Monotype Dante and printed by Michael and Winifred Bixler. Folder printed by Wild Carrot Letterpress. Designed by Eleanor Caponigro. Introduction by Bette Andresen. Gray textured folder with black tiles to the front. Laid in are 8 prints and an 8 page loose leaf pamphlet with Caponigro's commentary, Andresen's intro and the list of prints. SIGNED and INSCRIBED, " Santa Fe 1/1/91 For Jane-- with all best wishes Paul Caponigro ". PRESENTATION and ASSOCIATION copy to Jane Fortune, who was a noted author , philanthropist, and sustainer of the Arts in Indiana, including cofounding the Indianapolis City Ballet. This copy is VG+. Exterior has a couple of small smudges and a modestly worn bottom of spine. Inside is pristine as are the prints..
