New York: Civil Rights Congress, 1951. First Edition.
Scarce pamphlet decrying a Supreme Court decision that upheld the Smith Act, which was used to persecute Communists. An organization closely allied with the Communists, the Civil Rights Congress, published this pamphlet. It features statements by trade unionists, newspapers, and even Eleanor Roosevelt criticizing the Court's decision.

DETAILS: Small Octavo (7 5/8 x 5 1/4 inches; 195 x 132 mm), 39, [1] pages, in stapled wrappers (soft cover).

CONDITION: Brittle paper, wrappers nearly detached, chips and tears to extremities, heaving toning to pages. Fair only.
