Illustrated wraps. Covers a bit edgeworn, with light creasing at a couple corners and edges, and down front fold adjacent to spine, with a small UK bookseller's price sticker at top front. Spine itself slightly cocked with vertical creasing, though unbroken. Thin patch of dampstaining visible at top interior corner of front cover, not visible from exterior nor affecting adjacent pages. Small P written in pen at top edges of textblock. Interior a bit toned as expected but unmarked. Binding is sound.

Early collection of novelettes and short stories. Contents include "The Voices of Time," "The Sound-Sweep," "The Overloaded Man," "Zone of Terror," "Manhole 69," "The Waiting Grounds," and "Deep End."
