Publisher's decorated blue cloth, octavo, pp. ix, 11-223. Brief publication year presentation inscription to previous owner on free front endpaper, signed D. Moore Lindsay. Tissue-guarded frontis and many more illustrations. Note that all illustrations are present, but publisher inserted several a page or two later than Table of Contents calls for. Board tips are rubbed and bumped. Crown of spine rubbed through, and foot of spine has several nicks in the cloth. Upper board gilt ship illustration remains quite bright, but the single-ruled white border has faded segments. Spine lettering has faded completely. A serviceable First edition copy, withal. Uncommon signed.
