Large format hardcover, quarto size volume bound with dark green cloth spine lettered in gold and in publisher's non price-clipped dust-jacket. 73 pages. Containing 53 poems and selections from poems divided into five major sections by anthologist Lee Bennett Hopkins and illustrated with evocative vignette and full page black and white drawings by Charles Mikolaycak. Stated first edition, first printing with full letter line. No previous ownership marks. A pristine, like new book. Dust-jacket shows several very small nicks, now tape repaired on verso. As new in a near fine dust-jacket. .
