Blue cloth boards, light rubbing to extremities; bottom corners lightly bumped; small blemish or irregularity in cloth on spine. Mostly minor wear to dust jacket; increased rubbing at corners; 2cm tear at head of spine panel; other smaller tears and chips; flap not price clipped; jacket in brodart protector. Blue ink underlining and marginalia intermittent throughout text. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
Beckett's existentialist play portrays two men who are trapped in endless waiting for the arrival of someone named Godot. They spend their time bantering and conjecturing and trying to anticipate the time and method of arrival. "Nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, it's awful?"
