About This Item
Springfield, Illinois: Charles C. Thomas, 1963. 2nd Ed. (1st-1958) . Blue Cloth. VG-/VG. 15.5 Cm x 23 Cm. viii+188, 101 text figs; prev.owner's sig., ex-lib.stamp and library donation label all to front pastedown, his colourless round embossed ex-lib.stamp to bottom half-title, some faint grey dust-like markings to front pastedown and recto end-paper which resist erasure, similar to rear pastedown plus some brown marking along edge of gutter of unclear nature; unclipped jacket generally clean and unworn but a trifle rubbed/nicked in a few places and spine just a shade darkened (will seal in protective adaptaroll when ordered). A very acceptable copy despite provenance markings to front pastedown. This 2nd edition apparently scarcer than 1st and much enlarged.
