Synopsis
Walk Two Moons is a novel written by Sharon Creech and published in 1994. It won the 1995 Newbery Medal. At the beginning of the story, Salamanca Tree Hiddle is taking a road trip with her grandparents to visit her mother in Lewiston, Idaho. To pass time, she tells her grandparents the story of her best friend, Phoebe Winterbottom. Similar to Sal's case, her mother unexpectedly decides to leave home one day. Sal meets Phoebe upon moving in to Euclid, Ohio.
Reviews
On Feb 25 2016, a reader said:
This is a wonderful book for all ages. The main character, Sal, tells her interesting and entertaining story. In the book, Sal believes her mother will come back, even if it is not true. She is optimistic about many things as well. I recommend this book to people who love and feel the characters. And remember, don't judge a book by it's cover. ;)
