Tall 8vo. 7 x 10.75 in. 64 pp. Photo-illustrated title, decorative borders, photo plates throughout, decorative head-piece vignettes, decorations, 1 large double-page pictorial map. Colour-illustrated softcovers, elaborate cover art on front cover of Native American woman pouring two earthen jugs of water onto the earth, horse team wheat reaper on back cover (very minor bumping to couple corners), still VG bright copy. First edition of this very scarce land promotion souvenir for Walla Walla County, WA sponsored not only by the Walla Walla Commercial Club, but also intended to market available lands from the OR & N Co. Rlwy, the SP, and Sunset Magazine’s homeseekers’. This work includes photos of Walla Walla Valley farms, orchards, prize-winning alfalfa and hay fields from the A-Y-P Exposition the previous year, and dairy farms. Many of the photos show main streets in Dayton, Waitsburg, Walla Walla, residential homes and Whitman College in Walla Walla, and more.
