SECOND EDITION (stated on title page), circa 1905, miniature book, 79 x 79 mm, 3 x 3 inches, pale green cloth, yellow, red and black illustration to upper cover, top edges red, 83 pages. 20 very jolly lively colour plates each facing a 4 line verse, all printed on thick card, 1 side only. All the people and creatures are the subjects of King Wallypug of Why. There are dressed pigs, folk from Japan, a hippotamus, a crocodile, a salamander and a newspaper selling rabbit, all dressed. The last is Dumpsy Deazil, a pretty doll. A couple of very minor marks to cloth, a neat inscription on blank page 5, title of plate page 11 written in a small neat hand across lower corner of plate, a name written in the same hand across lower corner of plate page 35 (see images), occasional slight dusty mark to margins. A very good plus tight copy. First published undated in 1905, No. 7 in The Humpty Dumpty Books for Children series, 'The prettiest Child Books in the world'. List of 10 titles inside upper cover.
