No markings, the rear endpaper has a soft crease to it, otherwsie Fine in unclipped Very Good - dust jacket with 1" tear and crease to head of spine and 1.25" closed tear to lower flap fold corner to rear panel. DJ is in mylar sleeve. Boards, 224pp, index, lots of colour and B&W photos. Disney Legend Ub Iwerks is most-often remembered as theanimator who worked directly with Walt Disney and first animated Mickey Mouseand Minnie Mouse, but as this new deluxe volume by Ub's son Disney Legend Don Iwerks reveals, he was Walt's ultimate inventor. Even before the creation of Mickey, Walt established a reputation as a technical leader in Hollywood and frequently relied on the advice, expertise, ingenuity, and creativity of a kindred spirit, life-long friend, and fellow virtuoso: Ub Iwerks. Up till now, Ub and his many technicalinventions and techniques have been largely unknown by the general public. His illustrious career consisted of dozens of innovative contributions to both animated and live-action motion pictures, as well as the fields of optics, film processes, and special effects.
