The sufferings and humiliation of the Jews under Nazi rule have no counterpart even in the cruelty and crime deliberately practised against other inhabitants of the vanquished states. Robbery of the last means of subsistence, starvation, physical ill-treatment, seclusion in overcrowded ghettoes, suppression of all cultural life, concentration camps, slave labour, massacre, and the Lublin reserve destined to become the grave of its compulsory inhabitants - this is the lot of Jewry under Nazi rule.
