New York: Frederic A. Brady, 1864. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 312pp. Blind stamped black boards with gilt stamped decoration to front cover. Covers and frontispiece detached but present, backstrip missing, owner's name, bookplate and pencil notations on front pastedown, bookplate of Military Historical Society of Massachusetts on rear pastedown, text is mildly age-toned, edges darkened, but text is otherwise quite sound and clean. Humorous account written phonetically in the local vernacular.
