A previous owner's name to front free endpaper and two addresses to rear free endpaper. Newspaper cuttings affixed at front. Laminate to pastedowns. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light tanning, but heavy paint marks to front and spine.

Lupus Music. 1969. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (8.7 x 5.6 inches). A very good, bright copy in the pictorial boards which show a black and white photo portrait of Bolan. Front board and spine lettered in white. In the original dustwrapper which reproduces the boards. Just a hint of rubbing to the extremities of the boards and some creases to the edges of the wrapper but overall a very good copy throughout.

Rex (formerly Tyrannosaurus Rex), who died in a single-vehicle car crash at the age of 29. The band was wildly popular in Britain for their psychedelic folk sound, angering some loyal fans when their line up shifted and sound mutated toward glam rock, a genre they are credited with pioneering.

Signed by Bolan on the front free endpaper, "deepest love & blessing on your head x- Marc Bolan." Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. One of the pioneers of the glam rock movement of the 1970s, English singer, songwriter, musician, and poet Marc Bolan was the front man of the band T. Rex and a close friend of David Bowie. T. Rex's 1971 album Electric Warrior, with all songs written by Bolan, including the UK chart topper "Get It On", has been described by as "the album that essentially kick-started the UK glam rock craze" (AllMusic). Bolan died at the age of 29 in a car crash two weeks before his 30th birthday. In 1977, a memorial stone and bust of Bolan, Marc Bolan's Rock Shrine, was unveiled at the site where he died in Barnes, London. As a member of T. Rex, Bolan was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

When asked by the Fashion Style blog who she was 'totally into' as a teenager, Mongomery Barron replied : 'T.
