The Warlock of Westfall is the tale of Samuel Swift, a lonely, eccentric bachelor in his late seventies who lives the life of a recluse near the village of Westfall, Massachusetts. His loneliness leads him to invent an imaginary family, and the discovery of his "family" leads to his arrest, trial, and execution as a disciple of the devil.
