Publishers original tan cloth, gilt decorations on the spine and gilt border decorations on the front cover, lettered in brown on the spine, in original clear plastic dust jackets housed in a color pictorial cloth-covered slipcase, sm 4to (10 x 7 1/2 inches). Contents include: Volume 1: The Magpie Goose, Whistling Ducks, Swans and Geese, Sheldgeese and Shelducks; Volume 2: The Dabbling Ducks; Volume 3: Eiders, Pochards, Perching Ducks, Scoters, Golden-Eyes and Mergansers, Stiff-tailed Ducks; Volume 4: General Habits, The Reproductive Cycle Ecology, Distribution and Species Relationships, Fowling, Conservations and Management, Aviculture, Domestic Waterfowl, The Anatomy of Waterfowl, Fossil Anseriformes, Corrections and Addictions.
