Neufeld moved to the United States in 1935 where he died at age 93 but continue to paint Waterloo & Canadian landscapes all his life. Introduction by Paul & Hilde Tiessen, Waterloo academics who co-authored, in 2010, a biography / retrospective on the artist entitled "Woldemar Neufeld's Canada: A Mennonite Artist in the Canadian Landscape 1925-1995".
