Stated at title page: "Third Enlarged Edition." Copyright 1922 and 1925 by Manly P. Hall. Deep red cloth boards, git cover and spine design, titles, moderate shelf wear, rub, spine toning. Intriguing design at cover of what appears as two hands held together upwards as in praying with similar feathered wing pattern emanating from wrists and surrounding. Frontispiece plate by Knapp: "The Passing Glory of the Red Man: I can see them every night as the shades of evening fall; I can see the young braves dash across the sky hunting the buffalo, or floating in their beautiful canoes down the river of stars." Fine glassine page guard with unique patterned web effect. Pages generally very good, clean; first few leaves with half inch moderate discoloration to bottom edge. Interesting antiquarian pictorial bookplate at front pastedown featuring chiaroscura-like design surrounded by name and mottoes. Bind good, intact. Rare near very good signed early printing. Table of Contents: "Nature's Homage; The Maker of Gods; The Master of the Blue Cape; The Face of Christ; The Guardian of the Light; The One Who Turned Back; The Glory of the Lord; and, The Last of the Shamen."
