Fawcett Gold Medal. Very Good. 1988. Paperback. Both covers, next to the spine, are creased from reading. The spine is not creased from reading. The pages are clean, no tears or soiling. The pages and binding are tight. All three page edges are yellow stained. The bottom of the spine has been taped to re-enforce it. There is faint writing on the upper right corner of the front cover and the lower right corner has two creases. ; A Delamer Western; Vol. 5; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 183 pages; As Willie Delamer rode the dusty trail towards the prairie town of Edwards, he couldn't help feeling the world had turned on him or remembering how once before he'd expected Kansas to bring peace. But it had only brought more death, more darkness. Now, for some reasons even he couldn't explain, he was back. The first Texas herds would be moving across the plains into Kansas, and ruthless Rufus Macpherson meant to draw them in by taking Edwards over and turning the town into a free-for-all of whiskey, women and gambling -running roughshod over the townsfolk and homesteaders to do it. But he had yet to meet up with Willie Delamer and know the hard, stone-cold grip that seized Willie's heart before he drew his Colt. Will combine shipping on more than one book. .
