Plain text paperback binding with green and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. "In 1971 Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), the Cologne television station, broadcast Rote Fahnen sieht man besser (Red Flags Can Be Seen Better), a documentary on the closing of a chemical works from the point of view of those who made redundant. This was the first example of an experimental new genre which came to be known as the Arbeiterfilm ('worker film'). As developed by WDR the Arbeiterfilm if evolved into a form of programming which put the lives of the West German working class on the screen." -- from the rear panel blurb.
