The Weapon Makers A.E. vanVogt (1912-2000) very scarce second novel was originally copyrighted in 1943 by Street and Smith Publications and not published until 1947 when it was copyrighted by the author. vanVogt was a Canadian science fiction writer who was very influential in the development of many well know practitioner of the genre. vanVogt was an early practitioner of Dianetics which was a precursor to what is now called Scientology and worked closely with its founder and fellow science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Book is bound in blue cloth over boards with gold spine lettering. This is a very scarce and desirable book for fine science fiction libraries.
